Welcome to Humaro. These Terms of Service govern your use of our HR platform and services. By accessing or using Humaro, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and our Cookie Policy. If you are using Humaro on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

2. Account Registration

To use Humaro, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

3. Use of Services

You may use Humaro only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You agree not to: use the service for any illegal purpose; attempt to gain unauthorized access; interfere with or disrupt the service; upload malicious code; or use the service to store or transmit infringing, defamatory, or otherwise unlawful material.

4. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all data you input into Humaro. We do not claim ownership over your employee data, documents, or configurations. You grant us a limited license to use your data solely for the purpose of providing and improving our services. Upon account termination, you may export your data.

5. Subscription and Billing

Paid features require a subscription. Prices are as listed on our pricing page and may change with 30 days notice. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. Refunds are available within 30 days of purchase. You are responsible for all applicable taxes.

6. Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice. We are not liable for any downtime, data loss, or service interruptions beyond our reasonable control.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Humaro shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. We will provide a reasonable period to export your data. Sections relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution survive termination.
